As for OP, I feel ya, I have been a long time PvE player, casual ONCE in a while PvP and enjoy the game the same way you do. Taken breaks here and there and agree strongly with every one of the things you posted. I think us PvE players feel much more strongly about the game than PvP players do.

A - the people who made it and make games for a living.
B - the random people who pump out 10,000 random ideas everyday without a clue about how to make or run a successful video game.
{sorry but "so and so sounded smart on the forums" doesn't qualify them in my book}

I'll go with A personally and if they really do such a bad job running the game I will move on to something that suits what I would like to see in a game better as I understand that I am not qualified to make videos games no matter how many ideas I have about what may or may not improve one.

If you really think Anet does such a horrible job you should walk away from their products and never look back, after seeing how most if not all other companies manage/mismanage the games that they have I'll give these guys a shot before any of the other clowns out there and if they are doing such a bad job as someone might think from reading the constant QQs on the forums how is it that they are still up and running 5 years laters when so many "bigger/better" titles and companies have bit the dust since the launch of GWs?

Happy New Year and always remember video games aren't life, when the former start seeming too important perhaps it's time to get back to the latter!

Peace
Way to read way too much into that one sentence, dude XD

All I'm saying is that it seems to many people like maybe fixing issues of account security should be placed in higher regards then, say, costumes, and skill balances and XTH should come before new content.

May or may not be what -I- think, but it's what I've gathered from the community here.

My comment wasn't actually a qq about 'fix Zos Shivros nao', but an observation that at one time, there was NO way that would have been allowed to last overnight. Now, as I said, they wont bother to make what is a simple spawnpoint fix, nor bother to ask a certain crap-fest phail fansite whose name I never mentioned (but KJ did - but its ok real players dont use that site anyway, its for the phail-folk) to take down the directions it has posted on how to screw over legitimate players.
Since they wont bother with these simple actions, I say it is ANET who has forgotten some of the great things about thier game.
it wasnt all that off-topic.
For the last time, Cusfreak, stop defaming PvX here. This thread is not about that, and even if it were thousands of people (possibly GW players) use PvX every day and tens of thousands have downloaded our build packs. It is meant to be a tool to help players, and calling those players "phail-folk" is both ignorant and pointless.

The build on our site does not violate the EULA or the ToC as I have personally checked with Anet staff to verify that. We will not take a build down because 1 person has some strange vendetta against it, and we are in no way violating the game by posting the build or its directions.

Also, for the last time, the build gives you no strategic advantage over other players in the challenge mission. As far as I know, it would take around 4-5 days of straight afk in order to make it in one of the scoring positions of the scoreboard AND the game times out after 24 hours of afk unless you use a botting program, which is against the EULA.

For the last bloody fcking time, either take it up with Anet (at GWW) or at PvX. That build does not concern this thread in any way, shape, or form.

actually, KJ, my comments, again, were on-topic. you derailed them, not me. read back through, if you can.

My comments are about the attitude shown by devs by not bothering with an exploit that does, whatever you may personally think about it, affect legitimate players, even though they made a great game and I haven't forgotten that.

thats very on-topic.

As for whether posting the directions on how to screw over legitimate players by using "the next best thing to botting" is ok - sure, i understand, if Anet wont bother, why should you? a true fan's stance.
like your response "it's not our fault anet made their game so easily exploitable".

you sound like you're getting angry, though. I'm sorry that your site is crap and is for those "tens of thousands" who cant make themselves a build. it must suck for you, I understand. The literacy rate must be frustrating too. all the "wats wrong wit this one?" and such. but this isn't your crapsite where you can ban-button anyone who's comments you dont like. or who disagrees with you. besides, its a game. chill out. go read a book or something and stop derailing this thread.

Damn a lot of whining here. I can't get the skill update QQ in 2 months and XTH is still down without a word.

Sometimes i wonder if people act like kids now you can't always get what you want in time. The staff was not in the office during the holiday damn even people who works have vacations and they earned it.
Anet works hard just for you to get your damn updates and you whiners are ungrateful.

Ofc I get pissed you expect everything to be in time. Sure I want the update as well for a reason no more god mode 123 button spam i win feature and screw up the economy.

I'd rather put in more priorities in the next upcoming game rather than pull out strings for an old game.

Hi, please bring this "bug" to the attention of the Anet staff by posting it on GWW's bug report page.

I'm afraid that Guru users can't do anything about it.

Thanks.

IMO the report function has done more harm then good, so that would be a negative on my side, and again thats my opinion...but I have never really seen it put to good use other than "hey lets all gang up and report this guy because he lost a match in RA".
